How to replace the nut of the shower hose?

Nowadays, most bathrooms in families are equipped with water heaters, which bring great convenience to everyone's life. If you want to use a water heater, you must use a shower hose. If the nut of the hose is broken, how can you replace it? Today, let's take you through this issue.

Normally, one end of the hose is connected to the shower, and the other end is connected to the outlet pipe of the water heater. There will be a hexagon internal thread fastener at the end of the connecting pipe. If the strength is stronger, it can be directly removed or fastened by hand. If necessary, a wrench can be used to assist in the removal and fastening. At the end of the shower, there is no hexagon fastening nut, but there is a circular nut fastener. When replacing the hose, you only need to rotate it in a counterclockwise direction to remove the hose, and then replace it with a new hose. Tighten the nozzle and the circular nut, and note that the seal must not be omitted. The seal can ensure the tightness of the hose and avoid water leakage in a short time.

Since the connector of the shower nozzle hose is basically a metal part, the probability of damage is relatively low. However, if the material of the shower is plastic, it is more likely to be damaged than the hose, so it only needs to be replaced with a new shower.

How to judge which end of the shower hose is damaged? In fact, it is very simple to install the hose in a different direction. After installing in a different direction, if the connection to the water heater outlet is normal, it indicates that the hose is good and needs to be replaced. If the sprinkler can be connected normally after changing the direction, it indicates that the thread of the hose connector is damaged and needs to be replaced with a new hose.
